In Memory of Jay

 jaymemorial.jpeg

Jay has passed and is happily playing with his sister Yin in dog heaven.  I adopted Jay 5 years ago from FBRN, he was 6 years old, skinny, had flea bitten ears, callouses everywhere from living on a concrete floor and the most stubborn case of worms that I ever experienced with a dog.  He was a backyard breeder and didn't know how to play with toys.  Despite that the minute I picked up Jay in Florida from his foster mom we had an instant bond, he never left my side, was a true shadow dog!  He had two frenchie sisters the first was Yin a true bitchy bitch but Jay not only tolerated her, he loved her and she returned the favor.  We lost Yin this past October, they passed 6 months apart.  We adopted Jay's new sister from FBRN this past November, Jay welcomed her, loved her and let her take all of his toys.  Jay never complained, he just wanted to be warm and loved.

He was stoic to the end and a true gentleman, everyone loved Jay.  He will be missed.
