In Memory of Ziva
Ziva (formerly Muffin) died in my arms May 1, 2013. She came into our lives June 24, 2010. Z was a stoic. She took all the bad things that were thrown at her and made do with the little she was given until she reached Karina, her FBRN foster Mom. Then things got better. So very much better. Z had been a breeder in an Ohio puppy mill. When she went into rescue she had an advanced case of heart worms which left her heart and lungs damaged. She later developed Cushing’s. We will always be grateful that we were chosen to be her forever home. Z had the most gentle soul, the kindest heart, a brave spirit. We love you Z. And will forever miss your earthly presence in our lives.
