In Memory of Sybhan

Sweet Sybhan, you were only with us for a short time, but we will always remember you. Found wandering as a stray, with a bullet lodged in your skin, scars on your back and Heartworm positive, you were still sweet and trusting. You were so grateful to be taken in, and all of the people who took care of you loved you right back; dogs, kids and adults alike.

Your funny habit of sleeping in laundry baskets and hockey bags endeared you to us all. When neurological issues threatened to take you from us, we tried everything to help you. When it became apparent that we couldn't, we knew we had to help you go. Even as you left us, we felt your gratitude. We were lucky to have had you in our lives, and we won't forget you. We are so grateful to have known you.
