UPDATE: We are very sad to report that Beans was humanely euthanized this week because her seizures had become uncontrolled.  The presumptive diagnosis is a brain tumor. Our hearts go out to her foster family and all who loved and cared for her.

Please welcome Beans to FBRN! This beautiful black-masked girl was sadly surrendered by her previous family who loved her very much. She arrived with a favorite toy that has been sewn back together many times so that she can continue to play with it!

Beans has allergies and also suffers from seizures. Her medications aren’t working so well for her these days and the side effects are making poor Bean an unhappy girl. For now, Beans is settling into her foster home. She is very sweet and seems to be especially drawn to children. We’ll have much more to share about Beans once she is feeling better. The first step is a full medical evaluation and we are confident that starting new medications or treatments will have Beans in tip-top shape in no time!

If you can spare a few loose coins for Beans, then please click on the link and become her sponsor. Beans will have quite a few trips to the vet in her future and she could certainly use your support and kind words. We’re sure she would love to send back sweet kisses to show her appreciation!
