In Memory of Jakey

It is with great sorrow, that we share the news that our beloved Jake, known to FBRN as Noel, passed away on January, 18, 2017 and we couldn't be more heartbroken.  In looking back at our 8+ years together, we had to stop and thank everyone at FBRN for rescuing him, getting him healthy and allowing us to continue caring and loving him for so many years.

He loved going on road trips (3 times across the country and countless times up and down the coast of California). He loved the beach, running on the sand (he hated the water). He loved to snuggle, chew on antlers, take naps and he loved his extended family and his human brother.

He was the best companion and the silliest, most stubborn boy.  He was such a perfect match for us.

He leaves such an empty hole in our hearts and our lives, but we are so grateful to have had so many happy years together.

To FBRN and to Jakey: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
