“Rollins has only been with our family a short time and we all love him! He’s only 17 pounds which makes traveling with him super easy. Rollins has nothing but love to give and needs a family who will love him back. He is a special guy and I'm going to miss his snores and grunts when he finds his forever home.”

ROLLINS HAS A BITE HISTORY.

Rollins had a rough start. His previous owners found him abandoned, malnourished and almost unconscious near an abandoned building with other dogs inside barking to get out. We’re so glad they found him and took him in! Unfortunately, they both work and recently decided that Rollins would be happier with a family who could give him more time. Rollins certainly loves attention! He has been getting plenty in his foster home as they have gotten to know him, but now he’s ready for a forever home with a loving person or family that he can call his own!

Rollins has allergies and since he is allergic to cats and birds, we’ll have to say no to potential adopters who have kitties or pet birds. Little kids find it hard to resist picking up little dogs, so we are saying no to children under 15--we would all feel awful if he was accidentally dropped and injured, plus he has a bite history, so it's just not smart to have him around children. Rollins is not always so fond of other dogs. He can get along with other dogs and he does well on walks, but we think he would be happiest as an only pet. He snapped at a foster fur-sibling and also the family dog in his previous home and food is definitely a trigger.

Rollins has a great personality and he is a happy camper when he is around his people. He doesn't play very often and isn’t interested in toys. Occasionally, he will chew a Nylabone. Rollins is most content just lounging near his foster family. He wants to be where his people are. All the time. Rollins loves to cuddle, go on car rides, and take short strolls with his person. He can be wary around men at first, but warms up quickly. He is housebroken but will have accidents in the house if left alone for more than about an hour. Rollins prefers to sleep in the human bed and will let his people know that he’s unhappy if he is not allowed to sleep in bed with them!

Rollins would be great for a retiree or for someone who works from home. First time Frenchie owners would be great, but they will need to be familiar with the needs of brachycephalic breeds. Any potential adopters will need to be prepared to care for his allergies. Rollins currently gets a medicated bath about once a week. He would thrive in just about any type of home. An apartment would suit him just fine since he needs very little exercise! Rollins would make a great office companion for those that are lucky enough to get to bring their dogs to work.

Here are a few words from his foster family, “Rollins has only been with our family a short time and we all love him! He’s only 17 pounds which makes traveling with him super easy. Rollins has nothing but love to give and needs a family who will love him back. He is a special guy and I'm going to miss his snores and grunts when he finds his forever home.”

Rollins is making rude noises in Southern Joisey. If that doesn't put you off, he's small enough to fly in-cabin and mellow enough to ride in your car.

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
