"Littles is a wonderful little lady! She is playful and spunky with a lot of love and sweetness to give. She loves a good play of tug of war then will sit on your lap for hours of belly scratches. If you stop, she will quickly remind you with a paw tap to keep going!"

The lovely Littles has made her way to the available page. This girl is a 5 -year- old honey pied that was surrendered to FBRN when her previous owner was moving and couldn't take her along. She also needed more attention than could be provided in her previous home.

Littles is on a special diet, as it helped to clear up previous skin issues when she came into FBRN's care. She also has issues with her breathing that can be attributed to Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome. For this reason, one might see Littles sleeping while sitting up. She tends to do this when she is having a harder time breathing. Littles should also be watched and prevented from jumping off couches and beds. She had a hip injury some time ago, and we want to prevent another. Many Frenchie owners like ramps for their dogs, to allow them to get up and down from furniture without help and to make sure joint and back issues don't arise. Her paws are sensitive and tend to not do well if they get wet. For this reason, anytime she gets wet feet, they would need to be thoroughly dried so that yeast and infections don't crop up in between those adorable toes.

The good news is this girl loves to cuddle on your lap. She is also happy to be at your feet when in the kitchen. Rumor has it, she's waiting for a tiny morsel to drop while there. Littles loves a good game of tug of war with her foster siblings. She stays active for about 20 minutes and then will take a well deserved nap. She also loves her walks. Throw in some belly scratches for her, and she will be a dog in heaven.

Littles dislikes being left alone. For this reason she would do best in a home with someone who is able to work from home or is retired and doesn't need to leave home much. Littles is housebroken. She does well with older kids, usually 12+. It is not known how she behaves with cats, and shouldn't be placed with them. Littles enjoys other dogs, but they should be the same size or a smaller than she is. She would do well in either an apartment or a house. Littles would do well in a home that is familiar with Frenchies, as she needs to make sure her ears, paws, and hips are monitored.

Little's foster mom had this to say about her:"Littles is a wonderful little lady! She is playful and spunky with a lot of love and sweetness to give. She loves a good play of tug of war then will sit on your lap for hours of belly scratches. If you stop, she will quickly remind you with a paw tap to keep going!"

If you think you have enough time in your life to give Littles all the attention her heart desires, then don't hesitate to fill out an application for her. Though Littles is small enough to fly, in the coming weeks air travel may be limited to all but necessary trips--ask yourself whether you can drive to NJ if you are selected.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.

Littles has a history of skin and ear infections that must be monitored for recurrence. Your vet can tell you what to look out for. She must remain on her current diet to keep those skin and ear infections to a minimum. Littles has brachycephalic airway syndrome which must be monitored by your vet, so regular vet visits are important. She must wear a harness when going for walks, never a collar or choke chain.

Littles has a history of a pulled hip muscle which must be monitored for recurrence. She must always be carried up and down stairs and must not be allowed to jump on or off the furniture.

Little dislikes big dogs. A slow intro is required if there are other dogs in the home.
